Case Study - Uranium Technical Reporting

In 2013, ACA Howe International prepared a NI 43-101 compliant technical report for an Australian Stock Exchange listed company with aspirations to complete a listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange.  The project includes an historical uranium resource estimate and is located in New Mexico, USA.  More than 200,000 m were drilled in a 10 year period, beginning in the 1980’s.

Site Visit and Project Appraisal

The property was visited by a senior ACA Howe geologist in order to inspect access and infrastructure, gain an overview of the project area and sample mineralised stockpiles.

Technical Reporting

A NI 43-101 compliant technical report was written by ACA Howe, including assessment and summary of the large amount of historical work completed by previous owners.  ACA Howe recommended the twinning of 40 historical drill holes in order to verify the results of the historical work.  The drilling was also planned to provide additional data on geology, specific gravity, metallurgy, petrology, and porosity and permeability.
